What Is The Endocannabinoid System (ECS)?

All mammals, including humans, have what's called an endocannabinoid system, or ECS as its commonly referred to. Your ECS is comprised of endocannabinoids (lipid-based neurotransmitters), receptors, and enzymes located mainly in your brain and nervous system, but spread throughout your body. Your ECS is responsible for maintaining homeostasis, an internal state of equilibrium.

The endocannabinoid system has four primary purposes: neuroprotection, stress management, immune response, and regulating the body's other internal systems. This impacts faculties such as appetite, sleep, mood, and pain.

Your ECS can become imbalanced or depleted due to environmental factors or unhealthy lifestyle choices.

How does CBD work?

CBD (cannabidiol, a cannabinoid) mimics your body’s naturally occurring endocannabinoids by breaking down enzymes. This causes your body to build up a reservoir of the molecule anandamide — a.k.a the “bliss” molecule — this build-up of anandamide helps give your body that "happy" feeling. CBD works by restoring balance to your endocannabinoid system (ECS). Anybody can benefit from CBD support. Daily CBD provides optimal support to your ECS and promotes an overall sense of well-being.

Where does our CBD Come from?

Our CBD is extracted from 100% American farm-grown hemp, outside, in natural sunlight, and pesticide free.

What is Full Spectrum oil?

Full spectrum oil is a hemp extract that maintains the entire range of cannabinoids found inside plant yielding, on average 80% CBD and 20% of 100+ active cannabinoids and terpenes.

How is our CBD different?

Our proprietary nanosuspension process gives you the full spectrum of cannabinoids that are optimally dispersed for maximum bioavailability — a.k.a. quicker absorption. This results in an experience you can actually feel.

Will CBD get me high?

Unlike THC, CBD does not bind directly with the two classical cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2), which is why CBD does not cause any psychoactive effects. Instead, CBD breaks down the enzymes that break down the anandamide molecule, leading to an increase in your body's naturally-produced "bliss" molecule.

What’s the difference between CBDi and CBDrx?

We offer two types of CBD capsules for our QWIN module. Both CBDi and CBDRx contain full-spectrum oil. CBDi is a unique blend that was carefully formulated to maintain the sought after effects of CBD at a lower potency for use throughout the day.  CBDRx offers a higher potency of CBD for those seeking maximum healing and restorative properties. With CBDRx having a higher concentration of plant extracts, there is an inherently stronger aroma of the natural plant.

What’s the difference between The O.G., Super Lemon Days, and Granddaddy Mango?

We offer three types of full-spectrum CBD tinctures.

The OG is our high-potency formula derived from the cannabis strain OG Kush with pineapple flavoring added for taste to help restore balance and vitality.

Super Lemon Days is derived from the cannabis strain Super Lemon Haze and combined with CBG (cannabigerol) and Lemon/Lime flavoring to give you an uplifting mood boost.

Granddaddy Mango is derived from the cannabis strain Granddaddy Purple and combined with CBN (cannabinol) and Mango flavoring for a deeply sedating experience to help you wake up feeling refreshed.

Is CBD Legal?

The FDA considers hemp and hemp-derived extracts to be food-based products. As such, there are no legal restrictions on their importation, production, sale or consumption in the United States, as well as most of the industrialized world. Hemp oil is legal in over 40 countries around the world. Hemp oil is consumed by millions of people around the world, and this number is rapidly rising as an increasing number of studies explore its many potential health benefits.

How do I find the right dosage?

CBD affects us all in different ways and can have different results. Regardless of your experience with CBD, we recommend starting your experience as follows:

CBDi - The pods are low potency and can be lightly used throughout the day.

CBDRx - Start with a single dose and wait ~15 minutes before moving forward with another one. We suggest limiting intake to 3 doses per hour.  Please allow time for your body to adjust to your recommended dosage.

Super Lemon Days - This formula is designed to be stimulating. Start with ½ to 1 full dropper in the morning for 5 to 7 days. Monitor how you feel, and incrementally increase your dosage from there.

The OG - This formula is designed to be taken at any time of day. Start with ½ to 1 full dropper at the same time of day for 5 to 7 days. Monitor how you feel, and incrementally increase your dosage from there.

Granddaddy Mango - This formula is designed to be sedating. Start with ½ to 1 full dropper in the evening for 5 to 7 nights. Monitor how you feel, and incrementally increase your dosage from there.

What are the between nebulizing CBD vs. tinctures vs. edibles?

Nebulizers (a.k.a vaporizers) are the quickest way to absorb CBD. When CBD is inhaled, it goes directly into the lungs, then to the bloodstream. Customers typically state they feel the effects in 1 to 3 minutes.

When taken sublingually (holding the oil under your tongue for 20-60 seconds), tinctures absorb directly into your bloodstream and take up to 30 minutes to begin to notice the effects.

Edibles are processed through the digestive tract before entering the bloodstream. It can take up to 60 minutes to begin to notice the effects.

QWIN Care & Troubleshooting

There's some moisture between the capsule and QWIN, what do I do?

In the event that some liquid leaks from your capsules, or condensation builds up between the capsule and the contacts on QWIN simply roll up a piece of paper towel about the diameter of a pencil (or a cotton swab) and gently wipe the area where you see moisture, being careful not to apply too much pressure on the contact pins, and also wipe the bottom of the capsule.

Leaks will most often occur if you leave your QWIN in your car or in direct sunlight.  These conditions heat up the contents of the capsules making them more viscous (more susceptible to running) and you will need to clean your QWIN more often.

I am getting liquid on my lips, is that ok?

Yes, it is perfectly safe.  Occasionally, condensation settles in the chamber causing a small droplet to exit during inhalation.  Our CBD formulation is created with only food grade quality ingredients and is safe to ingest.

My device doesn't seem to be working.

We could imagine how unpleasant this may be, but if this happens there are a few things you can check:

- Is the capsule fully inserted into the module? It should click into place. If it is fully connected the LED indicator will animate the welcome series of colors.

- Make sure you still have CBD. Hold the cap up to a light to ensure that there is still liquid in it.  If not, then replace with a new capsule.

- Make sure your QWIN is charged.  Tap the device once to have the LED show the battery level.  If the light is red, place QWIN on its charger.

-If you still have issues please feel free to contact us at info@myqwin.com.

My QWIN Capsule is leaking!

The QWIN capsule was designed to prevent leaking but exposure to excessive pressure and heat changes may lead to leaking. In rare instances, you may have a damaged capsule.  Should this happen, please reach out to our team info@myqwin.com.

Can I leave QWIN in my car?

You should never leave your QWIN any place where it can be exposed to prolonged excessive heat such as a car on a hot day or laying in direct sunlight.

Like any other Li-ion powered device, prolonged heat exposure can damage QWIN's battery and lead to potential failure.

Can I fly with QWIN?

Only fly with brand new and sealed capsules. Used capsules will be affected by change in air pressure and may lead to leaking.
