What’s the difference between THC, Delta-8, THC-O, and Delta-10?

Have you ever been a little lost on the difference between all of these new cannabis products? Same. We’re breaking it down for you. Stop wondering what all the buzz is about.

Delta-9-THC (a.k.a. THC):

THC has always been a favorite among cannabis users. It’s the highest naturally occurring compound found in cannabis. We love it. And there are so many strains to choose from, so you can really curate your experience.

Now for the downside. Some people do experience paranoia while smoking, and it’s not legal in a majority of the U.S.

Delta-8-THC (a.k.a. Delta-8):

Delta-8 is stronger than CBD, but you won’t feel the intense “high” that you get from THC. Most individuals say they feel a calming “buzz” and a little bit of the “munchies,” but less paranoia and mental fogginess than THC.

Try Delta-8 when you need a mood boost, decrease pain sensation, deeper sleep, appetite stimulation, or reduce nausea.

THC-O-Acetate:

THC-O is 2-3x more potent than THC. Many people report less paranoia than THC, an increased feeling of one-ness and emotional openness (similar to psilocybin), and mild psychedelic visuals. You also may feel an intense body high similar to Delta-8.

THC-O takes slightly longer for the body to process than THC or Delta-8. Most users notice the effects in about 45 minutes to an hour after inhalation, and the effects typically last between 4 and 5 hours.

Delta-10:

Delta-10 is similar to Delta-8 and will give a buzz but won’t feel as strong as THC. Users commonly report they feel energized, where Delta-8 might feel more sedating. Think of Delta-10 as more of a Sativa and Delta-8 as more of Indica.

You may prefer Delta-10 during the day to boost creativity and give you a new perspective, whereas you may choose Delta-8 at night as a sleep aid.
